This post explains to the membership on our forums how the forums is setup. If you have any questions, please ask
There are several types of different users and members within the forums. Their group names and information is shown below to help you to understand the different groups we have set up within the TWS Forums

Explorer - This is an Unregistered User

An unregistered user has not signed up on the forums, but can access certain topics. These topics are marked as Open Forums. However they cannot post any replies until they register, and they will be subject to certain restrictions within the forum itself

Members who then register can start posting and access certain topics across the board. Depending on their membership status, extra priveleges can be attained, depending on the posting quantities

Approved Member

Posts 10 to 50

Senior Member

Posts 50 to 100

Posting Freak

Posts 100 to 150

Elite Member

Posts 150 to 250

Kick Ass Member

Posts 250 to 400

Let's Rock

Posts 400 to 500

Super Poster

Posts 500 to 750

Platinum Member

Posts 750 to 1000

SuperForummer

Posts 1000 to 1500

Deluxe Member

Posts 1500 to 2000

Irredeemable

Posts 2000 to 3000

FORUM GUARDIAN

Posts 3000 Upwards

All of these members - New Member, Junior Member, Senior Member, Posting Freak, Elite Member, Kick Ass Member, Let's Rock, Super Poster, Platinum Member, SuperForummer, Deluxe Member, Irredeemable, and FORUM GUARDIAN are part of what is called the Ladder Groups. This means as they post their posting increments, and when they hit certain target postings, then their group changes, and so they advance "up the ladder". Currently FORUM GUARDIAN is the last in this ladder group. They can post replies, edit their own replies and so forth

Non Ladder Groups. What are they?

No Ladder Groups are members placed outside of the ladder system regardless of the amount of posts they have done. Apart from that they have all the normal settings as the Ladder Group members, but their Forum Membership titles remain the same, regardless of how many posts they do. Below is the types of Non Ladder Groups that we have on this forum -

SUPPORT CREW

These people are members that have demonstrated their abilities and been part of the forum for enough time to be trusted by forum members. They are there to help you

Unwanted Members who may join:

Holding Group

If a member has registered but has not posted, but continues to return on and off to the forum, then they can be placed into the Holding Group. The Holding Group only allows them to access and post replies into the Forum Categories. All other forums are locked to them and they will not be able to access those forums, regardless of them being password protected or otherwise


ACCOUNT LOCKED

If a person has caused problems, or perhaps they have registered, but never come back, or have they have returned, then they seem to log in and log out, but do nothing, then they can be put into the ACCOUNT LOCKED group. It is for members that have really caused a nuisance of themselves, been completely rude and posed a threat to the forum harmony. If then the members who are put into the ACCOUNT LOCKED group continue to be abusive, then Admin will delete their accounts and Ban the IP of that user to prevent futher disruptions to the forum
